On a cold and rainy Wednesday in Portland, while waiting to find out if the team would be rained-out that night or not (the game would eventually be postponed), Thunder starting pitcher and Yankees top left-handed pitching prospect Manny Banuelos found the time to participate in a photo shoot for Sporting News. Trenton Makes Blog takes you behind-the-scenes of the photo shoot.
Banuelos will appear in an issue that comes out later in April, with theme centering around being “down on the farm.” The photo shoot was held at a dairy farm called Smiling Hill Farm, which was, despite the nasty weather, a gorgeous facility in rural Maine.
