Game 141: Trenton Thunder (67-73) @ New Britain Rock Cats (72-69)

The Thunder bring the 2011 season to a close with the final game of a five-game series in New Britain, Connecticut on Labor Day.  A Trenton win will eliminate the Rock Cats from the 2011 Eastern League Playoffs.  New Britain needs to win and have Reading lose in Binghamton to force a one-game playoff on Tuesday at New Britain Stadium.

LHP Steve Garrison starts for the 15th time this season for the Thunder coming off a win in his last outing.  The lefty from Ewing, NJ hurled 5.2 innings of two-run, three-hit baseball to lead Trenton to the win over New Hampshire.

LHP Spencer Steedley will get the ball for Rock Cats on Monday and will start for the seventh time this season.  The lefty picked-up a win over the Thunder on August 25, hurling five strong innings in the win in Trenton.
