Game 138: Trenton Thunder (66-71) @ New Britain Rock Cats (70-68)

Despite winning 4-1 last night over the Rock Cats in game one of the five-game set, the Thunder were eliminated from playoff contention in the Eastern League.  With four games remaining, the Trenton now has a chance to play the spoiler role against the Rock Cats, who enter action on Saturday evening one half game back of the Reading Phillies for the Eastern Division Wild Card spot.

RHP Craig Heyer will make his 24th start of the season for the Thunder in game one.  The righty from Scottsdale, AZ is coming off of two rough outings against New Hampshire in which he has allowed 15 runs in just nine innings, both losses.  Heyer allowed a career-high eight runs on Monday night in Trenton in a loss to the Fisher Cats.

LHP Logan Darnell makes his fifth career AA start in game one for the Rock Cats on Saturday.  The Nashville, TN-native lost his last time out, hurling 5.2 innings and giving up six runs on Monday in Richmond.  The lefty is the first member of the 2010 Twins’ draft class to reach the Rock Cats.

RHP Cory Arbiso gets the nod in game two for the Thunder, coming his best start of the season for the team. Twelve days ago in New Hampshire, the righty from La Mirada, CA hurled six frames of two-run ball to lead Trenton to the win.  The win was Arbiso’s first in a starting role this season and moved his starting record to 1-2, 6.32 ERA.

New Britain has not named a starter for game two.

  3. Do not bee distracted by exclusivity, benefits, and other
things that do not impact results. On top of all this
we have the mountains oof debt that have supported our economies inn the
west for so long. For example, during the global economic crisis of
2008, many savers lost money parked in offshore bank accounts in some destinations such
    as Iceland.

  4. I got this site from my buddy whoo told me concerning this web site and at thhe moment this time I
