Fisher Cats Slam Thunder with Big Inning

(Trenton, NJ) – The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (72-63) used their second eight-run inning against the Trenton Thunder (64-69) in the last six days on their way to a 10-4 win on Monday night at Waterfront Park.  In game one of the season’s final home series, a four-game set, the Thunder drop their sixth straight game and fall to the season’s low-water mark of five games below .500.  Austin Romine had three hits and Jose Pirela hit his eighth homerun of the season on an otherwise quiet night for the Thunder offense.
