With the Eastern Division’s Wild Card spot up for grabs, the New Britain Rock Cats used a dramatic ninth inning comeback to make a strong case for their bid last night, winning 4-2 over the Thunder at Waterfront Park. Despite losing for the fourth straight time, the Thunder still stand 2.5 games out of the Wild Card and 6.0 games out of first.
RHP Jeff Marquez returns to a Thunder uniform for the second time this season and will get the game one start.
