Thunder and Bowie Game Called In 4th

(Trenton, NJ)- Sunday night’s game between the Trenton Thunder and the Bowie Baysox was called in the top of the fourth inning. Since the game had not progressed far enough to become a regulation game, the game is declared “No Game”. In such case, the game is to be replayed in its entirety. No decision has been made when this game will be replayed.

Fans with tickets to the August 21 game may exchange them for tickets of equal or lesser value to another 2011 Thunder regular season home game except August 25, subject to availability. Suite level and picnic tickets may be exchanged for pavilion or club level seats based on availability. Ticket stubs may be presented in person at the Thunder Ticket Office at Waterfront Park starting at 9:30 AM on Monday morning.

When the game was called, the Baysox had runners at first and third base with two outs in the top of the fifth inning. Bowie’s Ronnie Welty was at the plate with his team in the advantage 4-2. There were three separate rain delays totaling two hours and twenty nine minutes.
