B-Mets’ Big Inning Blitzes Thunder on Wednesday

(Trenton, NJ) – A seven-run fifth inning paced the Binghamton Mets (49-68) past the Trenton Thunder (58-58) 9-3 on Wednesday night at Waterfront Park.  Damon Sublett, Jose Gil and Jose Pirela all drove in runs for the Thunder, who lose a series at home for the fourth time in five second half series.  The loss also drops the Thunder to the .500 mark for the first time since the team was 15-15 after a loss in Akron on May 8.
