(Altoona, PA) – Greg Picart’s one-out, seventh inning, solo homerun broke a 2-2 tie and gave the Altoona Curve (50-63) a 3-2 victory over the Trenton Thunder (58-56) on Sunday evening at Blair County Ballpark in Altoona, Pennsylvania. On another light night for the Thunder offense, Rob Lyerly smacked an RBI-double for the second time in as many nights. The win gives the Curve a series victory in the three-game set and sends the Thunder to their eighth loss in the team’s last ten games.
