Andy Pettitte Bobbleheads were once again a huge hit at Waterfront Park.

Today’s Game Notes

After seeing their four-game winning streak come to an end on Thursday night, the Thunder will look to draw even on Friday night in game two of the four-game set with the Richmond Flying Squirrels, the AA Affiliate of the San Francisco Giants.  After three more games with the Squirrels and an off day on Monday, the Thunder will welcome the Akron Aeros to town for the first time in 2011.

RHP Graham Stoneburner will return to the Thunder starting rotation tonight, making his first start since April 21.  In just three starts this season with the Thunder, Stoneburner has received a loss, a win and a no decision.  The righty, selected in the 14th round of the 2009 First-Year Player Draft out of Clemson, was scratched before a start against his home town Richmond Flying Squirrels on April 26 due to a neck injury and hasn’t pitched for the Thunder since.

LHP Eric Surkamp will make his eighteenth start of the season tonight for the Squirrels, looking to lower his Eastern League-leading ERA (2.00).  Surkamp has made three appearances against the Thunder this season, allowing just three runs in 17.0 innings , while striking out 27.

The Bank of Princeton’s Hank’s Take it to the Bank:  A team in one of Major League Baseball’s East Divisions will make a trade tonight.  Season Stats: .444 batting average (hit streak: 2)
