(Akron, OH) – Craig Heyer hurled six dominating innings and Chase Whitley picked-up his first Double A save to lead the Trenton Thunder (55-48) to a 4-3 win over the Akron Aeros (54-50) on Tuesday night at Canal Park in Akron, Ohio. Corban Joseph’s two runs batted in and Jose Pirela’s three hits led the Thunder offensive attack.
