Victorino, R-Phils Too Much for Thunder on Saturday

2011 XM Futures Game Participant Austin Romine joins Hank Fuerst on the SBLI Pre-Game Show.

(Trenton, NJ) – Three hits by the rehabbing Shane Victorino sparked the Reading Phillies (48-45) past the Trenton Thunder (50-43) 13-2 in front of 8,137 on Saturday night at Waterfront Park. In game three of a four-game series, Brad Lidge, also in a rehab appearance on behalf of the Philadelphia Phillies, hurled a scoreless seventh inning for Reading. At the plate, the Thunder only scraped across a sacrifice fly from Austin Romine and a solo homerun off the bat of Addison Maruszak.
