(Trenton, NJ) – Behind seven impressive innings from Craig Heyer, the Trenton Thunder (44-32) won 6-4 over the first place New Hampshire Fisher Cats (46-28) on Monday night at Waterfront Park. Heyer surrendered just two runs in his seven frames, retiring the last 17 of 19 Fisher Cat hitters that he faced. Trenton scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take a lead that they would never surrender in game one of the three game-set at Waterfront Park.
