Garrison Strong As Thunder Offense Erupts

(New Britain, CT) – Steve Garrison delivered five, solid innings in his return from the Disabled List as the Trenton Thunder (42-32) beat the New Britain Rock Cats (39-31) 12-5 Saturday night in New Britain, Connecticut. The Thunder used a Rock Cat franchise record 15 walks to tally 12 runs, the most scored by the Thunder so far in 2011, and stop New Britain’s five-game winning streak. In the middle game of the three-game set, Garrison started for the first time since May 3 and notched his first win in a Thunder uniform.
