(Portland, ME) – The Trenton Thunder (40-30) could not overcome the loud bats of the Portland Sea Dogs (24-43) on Tuesday night at Hadlock Field in Maine as the Sea Dogs rolled to a 13-5 victory over the Thunder. The lone bright spots for the Thunder were Rob Lyerly’s three-hit, two-RBI night in his Double A debut and Jose Gil’s fifth homerun of the season. Now four games into a season-long nine-game road swing, the Thunder have won just one contest.
