Late Homer Leads to Fourth Straight Loss

Thunder reliever Brad Halsey joins Hank Fuerst on the SBLI Pre-Game Show

(Binghamton, NY) – The Trenton Thunder (39-29) fell to the Binghamton Mets (23-43) 7-4 Saturday night in front of 5,978 at NYSEG Stadium in Binghamton, New York. Corban Joseph was a triple shy of the cycle and Cody Johnson doubled home two runs for the Thunder, who have now lost four straight games for the first time since April 25. Trenton tied the score in the top of the seventh inning, but a two-out, three-run homerun from Allan Dykstra in the bottom of the seventh led the B-Mets to their second straight win in the three-game series.
