Game 69: Trenton Thunder (39-29) @ Binghamton Mets (23-43)

Shaeffer Hall delivers a pitch during Sunday's win.

Losers of four-in-a-row for the first time since April 25, the Thunder head into Sunday’s matinee in Binghamton looking to avoid being swept on the road for the second time this season. Trenton is in the Southern Tier of New York for the first and only time in 2011. Binghamton will make their third of three trips to Waterfront Park in early August. The Thunder are currently in their longest road swing of the season with three-game stops in Binghamton, Portland and New Britain.

LHP Shaeffer Hall will make his team-leading 14th start of the season for the Thunder, who are looking to avoid being swept on Sunday. The former Kansas Jayhawk will start for the first career time against the B-Mets. The lefty’s last time out, he hurled six innings and gave up just two runs in a win over the Harrisburg Senators on Friday.

RHP Tobi Stoner will make his fifth start of the season for the B-Mets since being called up on May 28. After starting out his 2011 AA campaign 0-2, 12.60, the righty and former 16th rounder has bounced back nicely, going 2-0, 2.45.

The Bank of Princeton’s Hank’s Take it to the Bank: A night after being robbed of a three-run homerun, Cody Johnson will hit a homerun today. Season Stats: 26 wins, 37 losses (streak: W1)
