The Thunder fell short in their quest to sweep the Binghamton Mets on Sunday, and after a Monday off day, Trenton welcomes the Harrisburg Senators to town for the second of two trips in 2011. The Senators have taken five of the seven games over the Thunder so far in 2011, including a three-game sweep in Harrisburg in late April. After this three-game series wraps up a six-game homestand, the Thunder embark on a nine-game, ten-day roadtrip to Binghamton, Portland and New Britain.

LHP Shaeffer Hall will make his team-leading 13th start of 2011 for the Thunder after his three-game winning streak came to an end on Wednesday in Reading. Hall took the loss against the Senators on April 8 in Waterfront Park’s 2011 home opener, hurling 5.1 innings and giving up two runs.

RHP Garrett Mock will make his second start for the Senators in 2011 after giving up four runs in four innings in the second game of a doubleheader last Tuesday in Binghamton. The former Houston Cougar has a career 4-13, 5.17 record as a Major Leaguer with the Washington Nationals.

The Bank of Princeton’s Hank’s Take it to the Bank: The Thunder will still be in first place at the end of the night. Season Stats: 22 wins, 36 losses (streak: W1)
