Sublett, Gil Deliver in Trenton’s Sixth Straight Win

Jose Gil joins Hank Fuerst on Wednesday’s SBLI Pre-Game Show

(Reading, PA) – The Trenton Thunder (26-18) dramatically came from behind to beat the Reading Phillies (24-20) 4-3 in ten innings Wednesday night in game two of a three-game set from FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading, Pennsylvania. Damon Sublett sent the game to extras with a two-out, solo homerun in the top of the ninth, and Jose Gil drove home the go-ahead run in the tenth to give the Thunder their season-high sixth straight win. With the series victory, Trenton has now won seven of eight series and has not lost a series in the month of May.
