Today’s Game Notes

Extending their season-high five game winning streak last night in the 5-2 win in Reading, the Thunder have an opportunity tonight to win a series for the seventh time in eight tries. That stretch dates back to the series in Richmond at the end of April when the Thunder lost three of four. The Thunder have not lost a series in the entire month of May as well. RHP Dellin Betances (3-1, 0.94), the Yankees top pitching prospect, will make his seventh start of the season. The Brooklyn native will face Reading’s LHP Ryan Edell (3-1, 4.18).
