Krum’s Heroics Cap Comeback Win

(Trenton, NJ) – The Trenton Thunder (20-17) scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to come from behind to beat the Binghamton Mets (13-21) 3-2 Sunday in front of 5,543 fans at Waterfront Park. With two outs and Thunder runners on first and third in the final frame, Austin Krum lined a triple to right field, scoring two and providing the Thunder a walk-off win. Taking three games of four from Binghamton, the Thunder have now won five straight series.
