Today’s Game Notes

The Thunder begin a seven-game homestand Monday night for a 7:05 PM contest with the first place Reading Phillies. The R-Phils are in town for a quick three-game series. The closest team to Trenton in the Eastern League (1.5 hours), the Thunder will face Reading 18 total times in 2011. Both squads are 7-3 in their last ten games.

Trenton will turn to Yankees top pitching prospect Dellin Betances (1-1, 1.38) to get the team off to a good start on this homestand. The Phillies will counter with their Opening Day starter, RHP Josh Zeid (1-1, 4.35).
